New old job and Halloween.tv sold

Hello friends and family! There are two big announcements that I'm excited to share with everyone.

The first is on the career front where I've decided to work for PayPal again as a Sr. Designer, but unlike the first time around where it was wagons west and we headed for Cali as a family, this time I'll be working from their Cheyenne office. Ok, ok, they don't actually have a Cheyenne office, but I will be working remotely from home and will be their lone Wyoming employee. Everyone knows the best designers come from Cowboy Country *wink*. Overall, it's just a great opportunity and a unique twist on the role which was something I just had to try. I spent the past week in San Jose getting my PayPal employment paperwork completed and laptop in hand. Everyone was super cool and it was great to see old friends again. It was sad to leave Sierra as it's a great environment that I will definitely miss. I made some good friends there and plan on visiting for a few games of pong whenever I get the chance. Sam will also remain at Sierra in her current role where she has grown into quite the Retail and Marketing/PR specialist for them.

The second piece of news is just as the headline stated. Over the summer I started to discuss the possibility of selling the domain name halloween.tv and as of last Thursday the sale officially happened. It was pretty exciting to have my first official "start-up" idea so to speak move on. The buyer is a good guy and I can't wait to see what they eventually do with the name. I've already purchased another domain name and someday hope to have the old site up and running again. We'll just have to wait and see what comes out of our idea kitchen.

Lastly, I have to give everyone an update on the kids. Daisy is doing awesome and is taking both gymnastics and music classes. We're still trying to find an acceptable daycare system for her, but neither we or grandma are in any hurry. As for Caleb he just keeps growing like a weed. We expect him to start shaving any day now. He's just a monster kid with an amazing sense of humor.

That about wraps it up for now. Hope everyone is doing well as we head into the Holiday season. I promise pictures next time we post.
